James Kim

I can't imagine that I would be able to write anything about James Kim that hasn't already been said. He did his job: He protected his family, even at the cost of himself. The Ortega family sincerest condolences go out to Kati and her children. If you would like to make a donation to the Kim Family fun, you can do at at: JamesandKati

Picky, Picky

It seems that Google de-ranked this site. Jerks. So here's a post to put me back on top for "Eric Ortega". Here's some search terms to help things along YouTube You Tube MySpace Podcast Adam Curry (Adam Curry? Yea, get over it. He' popular) iPod Garmin GPS Canon Rebel Google (obvious, right?) Googlewhack

Site Updates

Alright, things are returning to normal. I'be been moving things over to the new server at my house and trying to reorient myself. Also, getting blogger to work right has taken some tickery and flat out kung foo. The site feed has been restored. The picture gallery is up but only has one album. I'll be adding more pictures this weekend. I owe a BIG thanks to my friend Dan for helping me get this running. Check him out at morecpu.com . He's an EXCELLENT programmer and unix guy. If you need a project done he's your man. His contact information is on his site. Please mail me if you spot something that's blatenly wrong or needs to be changed. E

I don't even know what I am testing here.

WHAT HAPPENED!?

The server that was hositng the website crashed and I think I have the basic pieces back. The image library is gone, but I'll be posting images back as soon as I can. Sorry everyone!

Geocaching? Yes, Geocaching

Using billion dollar government satellites to find Tupperware in the woods. Or something like that. It's a new hobby of mine, and very addicting. Geocaching Also, since I'm big into podcasting check out the Podcacher podcast. All things geocaching related

Software? Yes, Software

I've been using a piece of weather software for a few months now and I need to share this with you. It's called SwiftWx and for the money the best weather software on the market. It's just that simple. If you have an appreciation for Mother Nature or just have a curiosity, you owe it to yourself to check this out. The screen shots you've been seeing recently are taken from Swift. Awesome, just awesome! Check out the weather blog .
